Job Description As a Purchase Engineer at DIMAN Solar you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of materials and equipment essential for our solar projects. You will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to ensure timely and costeffective acquisition of resources contributing to the successful execution of our solar energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management: Source and procure materials components and equipment required for solar projects ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
Supplier Coordination: Identify evaluate and select suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Cost Management: Analyze market trends and conduct cost comparisons to ensure cost effective purchasing decisions. Monitor and manage budgets for procurement activities.
Quality Assurance: Verify the quality and compliance of purchased materials and equipment with industry standards and project requirements.
Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including purchase orders contracts and supplier communications.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and specifications. Provide support in resolving any procurementrelated issues.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities including cost savings supplier performance and inventory status.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the solar energy or related industries is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of supply chain management procurement processes and vendor negotiation.
