Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Big Data Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing data solutions using big data technologies. You will work closely with data scientists analysts and other developers to build and optimize our data pipeline architecture and ensure the scalability reliability and performance of our big data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development:
- Design build and maintain scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize data flow and collection for crossfunctional teams.

Big Data Solution Design:
- Develop and implement big data solutions using platforms like Hadoop Spark Hive HBase Kafka etc.
- Work with cloudbased big data platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.

Data Storage and Management:
- Implement data storage solutions such as data lakes or data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake Redshift BigQuery).
- Manage distributed data processing frameworks.

Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate machine learning models into big data environments.
- Provide technical support and guidance for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and improve the performance of data systems.
- Ensure the security quality and integrity of data.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Document processes tools and workflows.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding the data infrastructure and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Big Data Developer or related role.
- Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark Hive Kafka).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python Java Scala or SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with data modeling ETL processes and database systems (e.g. SQL NoSQL).
- Knowledge of data security and compliance practices.
Preferred:
- Masters degree in a related field.
- Experience with realtime data streaming tools like Apache Flink or Kafka Streams.
- Certifications in big data technologies or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of machine learning or AI frameworks.

- Ability to handle and process large datasets efficiently.
