Job Title: Backend Team Lead (Azure Database Expertise)

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Team Lead with extensive experience in Azure database technologies. As a team lead you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of backend developers ensuring the development of highquality scalable and reliable backend systems that integrate seamlessly with our Azure database infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background excellent leadership skills and a passion for leveraging Azure database capabilities to drive innovation and deliver exceptional solutions. Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of backend developers fostering a culture of collaboration continuous learning and technical excellence.

Design and architect scalable and robust backend systems that leverage Azure database services (Azure SQL Database Cosmos DB etc.) effectively.

Establish and enforce coding standards best practices and architectural principles to ensure the development of highquality and maintainable code.

Conduct code reviews provide constructive feedback and actively participate in technical discussions to drive continuous improvement.

Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Azure database technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.

Project Management:

• Collaborate with product managers stakeholders and other teams to define project requirements scope and timelines.
• Plan prioritize and assign tasks to team members ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress identify and resolve bottlenecks and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Communicate project status updates and potential issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Team Development:

Recruit onboard and train new backend developers ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to the team.

Conduct regular performance evaluations provide feedback and create individual development plans to help team members grow and reach their full potential.

Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes collaboration creativity and high morale.

Encourage and support team members in pursuing professional development opportunities and certifications related to Azure database technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.

Proven experience (8 years) as a backend developer with expertise in Azure database technologies (Azure SQL Database Cosmos DB etc.).

Strong understanding of backend development frameworks tools and methodologies.

Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Database Administrator Associate Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

Contributions to opensource projects or communities related to Azure database technologies Technical Skills Technical Skills

8 years of experience in software design and development

Extensive handson experience in designing developing and deploying scalable and reliable solutions using .NET Core and C#

Proven track record with Azure Services: Azure App Services Blob Storage SQL Azure Cosmos DB CDN Application Gateway Front Door Key Vault Managed Identity ACR AKS Azure DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines.
