Job Description
Interim Scrum Master
And again Amstelbay is involved in an interesting digital optimalization program. This time it is an internationally fast growing software development (SaaS) company.
For them we need 2 Scrum Masters:
- One who focusses on technical platform development part
- A second who will focus on the client/CRM part and product innovation
As Scrum Master you will be instrumental in establishing and evolving the Agile Project Management practice. Your role is essential in creating a cohesive highperforming and agile product development environment that aligns with the companies ambitious growth and service goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Standardize Agile Practices: Establish and maintain a comprehensive Agile Project Management practice covering SDLC release management documentation reporting and risk management.
- Drive Performance Strategy: Implement a companywide performance strategy and framework to ensure organizational focus and alignment.
- Create and Facilitate Delivery Roadmaps: Develop a delivery roadmap prioritizing key initiatives to streamline product development.
- Advance Agile Maturity: Lead the organization in adopting Agile methodologies and improving Agile maturity across teams.
- Optimize Product Development Operations: Implement an Agile operating model to enhance product development operations and customer support improving customer experience and reducing timetomarket.
- Define and Manage SLAs: Oversee SLAs crossteam contracts and foster collaboration with crossfunctional and partner teams.
- Guide Requirements Gathering and Solution Design: Support teams in scoping projects identifying requirements and crafting effective innovative solutions.
- Facilitate Agile Metrics and Reporting: Lead efforts in velocity measurement effort estimation scope management and project reporting including timelines risks and resource allocation.
- Enhance Operational Efficiency: Drive operational efficiency across projects by refining processes practices and tools within the PMO.
- Establish Metrics and KPIs: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and drive operational efficiency project delivery and revenue assurance.
- Promote Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by developing and iterating on processes procedures and methodologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable operational and technology elements.
- Manage Program Schedules and Project Plans: Oversee program and project schedules managing time scope cost quality and interdependencies.
- Ensure Quality and Governance: Maintain high standards in project management documentation tracking and governance practices.
- Oversee Backlog and Project Reporting: Oversee backlog management and reporting at the program and project levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of handson experience as a Scrum Master preferably within a startup environment.
- Proven track record in Scrum responsibilities and Agile ceremonies.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks and mentoring teams in Agile methodologies.
- Strong experience in senior stakeholder management.
- Certification in PM and Agile methodologies (e.g. CSM PMP SAFe).
- Experience in R&D and Tech/IT environments is essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with advanced proficiency in productivity tools.
- Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving abilities.
- A proactive CanDo attitude.
- Operational Efficiency: Drive seamless efficient operations.
- Cost & Time to Market: Reduce timetomarket and optimize costs.
- Project and Program Delivery: Deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Revenue Assurance and EBITDA Contribution: Contribute to revenue assurance and positive EBITDA.
- Team Satisfaction: Foster a high level of team engagement and satisfaction.
