About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC milling operations be proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Set up operate and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Programming: Create and edit CNC programs using industrystandard software to control machine tool paths and cutting parameters.
- Setup: Install and adjust tooling fixtures and workholding devices to ensure accurate and efficient machining processes.
- Quality Control: Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and programming errors to minimize downtime.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.
- Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints technical drawings and GD&T. Strong knowledge of CNC programming setup and operation. Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in machining or related field preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with industrystandard CAM software (e.g. Mastercam Fusion 360).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
