Job Description
Job Title: EDI Mapping Specialist IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
Location: Pan India (Hybrid)
Experience: 4 to 9 Years
Job Responsibilities:

Data Mapping Solutions: Develop and implement robust data mapping solutions to transform data between various formats including EDI XML and flat files using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Mapping modules.

EDI Document Coding: Code and configure EDI document standards such as X12 EDIFACT within the Sterling B2B Integrator platform ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their EDI requirements designing mapping specifications tailored to their needs.

Troubleshooting & Testing: Troubleshoot and resolve mapping and EDI coding issues during the development and testing phases to ensure seamless integration.

Process Optimization: Optimize mapping and coding processes to enhance the efficiency of data exchange and integration between business partners.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of mapping specifications EDI coding standards and technical configurations for future reference.

Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance and support to project teams and clients on mapping and EDIrelated matters.

Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in B2B integration technologies particularly in mapping and EDI standards to ensure best practices are followed.
Requirements and Skills:

Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator focusing on mapping and EDI coding.

Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Technical Expertise:
- Indepth knowledge of EDI standards such as X12 EDIFACT and XML.
- Proficiency in mapping tools and languages including IBM B2B Sterling Mapper GENTRAN and XMLSpy.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for B2B integration such as Java SQL and XPath.
- Familiarity with EDI protocols and communication methods like AS2 FTP and VAN.

Analytical & ProblemSolving: Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex integration issues.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of interacting effectively with clients and project teams.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in B2B integration and EDI such as IBM Certified Solution Developer Sterling B2B Integrator are a plus.
