Job Advertisement: Year 5/6 Teacher (FullTime Temporary)
Location: Wandsworth
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Fulltime Temporary (until July 2025) with the possibility of extension for the new school year in September 2025.
Are you an inspiring and dedicated teacher ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of upper Key Stage 2 students This Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic Year 5/6 Teacher to join our team bringing passion creativity and commitment to support our students in achieving their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a mixed Year 5/6 class fostering a love for learning and strong academic progress.
- Create an inclusive positive classroom environment that nurtures and challenges each student.
- Prepare students for key academic milestones with a particular focus on supporting students in the leadup to Year 6 SATs.
- Work collaboratively with the wider school community contributing to a supportive and vibrant learning culture.
What Were Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a solid understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
- Proven experience (or a passion for) teaching upper Key Stage 2 students with strong classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility adaptability and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils from diverse backgrounds.
