Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging Computer Science curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role entails fostering a dynamic and collaborative learning environment that encourages computational thinking problemsolving and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver stimulating Computer Science lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
  • Create a classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement participation and a love for learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Computer Science department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
