- Assemble desktop and mini computer systems according to specifications including installation of hardware components such as motherboards CPUs memory storage devices and power supplies.
- Conduct thorough testing of assembled systems to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended. This includes running diagnostic software and performing performance assessments.
- Identify diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Provide effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability of computer systems.
- Maintain highquality standards throughout the assembly process ensuring that all products meet company and industry specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes testing outcomes and any issues encountered during assembly. Document solutions and share knowledge with team members.
- Assist in managing inventory of computer parts and supplies ensuring that all necessary components are available for assembly.
- Work closely with other team members including engineers and quality assurance personnel to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or degree in computer technology or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in computer assembly repair or IT support preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical individuals
