Job Description



Virginia Mason Medical Center is looking for an Interventional Radiologist to fill the need!

BID DUE DATE: 11/25/24 5pm est


Rate Caps for Submission:
  • Malpractice Must be included in rates.
  • Orientation half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
  • Hourly under xx575 Per hour not OT
  • Holiday Must be 1.5x the regular rates Per holiday hour no OT
  • Nightly Call under xx1000 Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis
  • Holiday Nightly Call Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis
  • On Call (Daily) under xx4800 Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
  • 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
  • Call Back under xx575 Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
  • Holiday Call Back Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
In person orientation Jan 3031 if provider is picking up Feb ongoing dates. If provider picks up January dates we will most likely need to do an off cycle orientation.

Schedule: Monday Friday 8am6pm then night call and 24hr call on weekends

Facility Location: Virginia Mason Medical Center
Setting: Hospital
Duties: responsible for referral to Interventional Radiology. Discuss cases with referring physicians and provide prompt service for the hospital and outpatient cases.
Required Procedures: Drain placement Biliary interventions Urologic interventions Hepatobiliary interventions including TIPS BRTO GI bleed embolization. PE thrombolysis or thrombectomy
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: RN and Techs
Reason for Coverage: MD departures

Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels

Air Travel: Local no flights

Requirement description : **MUST NOTATE ALL DURING NAME CLEARS**
  • Board Certified Highly preferred. Will consider candidates BC/BE in Radiology with IR experience!
  • State License Highly preferred but will consider IMLC LOQ candidates
  • DEA and BLS Required during credentialing
  • Fluoroscopy certificate Required but can be flexible on this requirement.
  • Availability at time of name clear Required
