Job Description
The Head of CFS is responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of CFS operations. This includes strategic planning business development client management and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. The role requires strong connections with shipping lines CHAs and expertise in customs laws to enhance operational efficiency and business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Connections with Shipping lines & CHAs for business needs
Should be wellversed with customs laws
Liaison with Transporters Labor contractors & Equipment suppliers.
Responsible for maintaining and modifying SOP's for all the operational activities as needed.
Oversee CFS operations ensuring efficiency and cost control.
Drive client acquisition and retention through strategic relationship building.
Manage budgets monitor financial performance and implement costsaving measures.
Ensure adherence to legal safety and environmental regulations.
Lead and motivate the team to maintain high standards and client satisfaction.
Provide reports and recommend improvements.
Coordinate with suppliers negotiate contracts and ensure service quality.
Secondary Responsibilities
Manage the overall budget including marketing operation etc
Develop and implement strategies for brand growth and customer acquisition & make wise decisions for growth.
Education Qualification
Graduate / Master in any field
Experience
Minimum 15 Years in Relevant Field
Skills Required
Functional :
Connections with shipping lines CHAs transporters and equipment suppliers
Indepth knowledge of customs laws and compliance
Liaison with Transporters Labor contractor & Equipment supplier
IT Skills:
. Knowledge of CFS Operation Software
