The Special Education Teacher will support students with a wide range of learning emotional physical and developmental disabilities.
In this role you will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) collaborate closely with school staff and families and apply proven teaching strategies to encourage both academic and social development.

- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students needs.
- Create a supportive and structured classroom environment.
- Conduct assessments to determine students educational needs and progress.
- Work closely with general education teachers specialists and families to support students learning.
- Modify curriculum and instruction methods to accommodate students varying needs.
- Maintain accurate records of students progress and IEP goals.
- Provide emotional and social support to students promoting a positive learning experience.
Requirements
- Experience working early childhood caseload.
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
- A bachelors degree from an accredited university is required. Masters degree is a plus!
- Have a Florida PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement (no other certification will be accepted at this time).
