Job Description: Electric Pallet Jack Operator
Location: Memphis TN
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Position Summary:
The Electric Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for moving organizing and storing materials within a warehouse or distribution center. This role requires operating an electric pallet jack to load and unload goods ensuring efficiency and safety in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an electric pallet jack to transport materials within the facility.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Prepare pick and stage orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock movements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
- Inspect equipment daily for proper functioning and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Schedule:
Fulltime or shiftbased work in a fastpaced warehouse environment.
