Job Description
Exceptional leaders in the trucking industry should be aware of a new Shop Foreman opportunity in Tukwila. The ideal Shop Foreman should possess product and repair knowledge in Peterbilt Kenworth International Freightliner Mack or other manufacturers while running a tight ship.
$90000 $100000 annually to start based on experience and training. Benefits include:

Schedule
Day Shift 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Flexibility will be required from time to time to accommodate emergencies and finish work orders on time.
Requirements
- Ensure the shop is run efficiently and safely
- 50% shop floor completing diagnostics or electrical troubleshooting.
- 50% administrative/managerial duties
- Heavy repairs will be left to your team
- Inspect repairs and offer advice/corrections
- Hire train discipline and terminate staff when required
- Assign and close work orders
- Handle customer inquiries
- Ensure personal and mechanic training is up to date
- Assist shop parts and management as required
- Implement upper management initiatives
- Inventory and regular inspections (vehicles & shop)
Truck & Trailer Repair Experience OEM Training/Certification Preferred Diagnostics Troubleshooting Overhaul/Engine/Transmission Experience a plus Clear Communication
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Clean Driving Record OR CDL a plus OEM Certificates considered an asset ASE Certifications considered an asset Clean Background Check Pass Drug Test Tools
