Are you a detailoriented adaptable and customerfocused individual with a passion for sports Do you thrive in fastpaced environments and enjoy solving problems on the go If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Sports Event Coordinator!
As a Sports Event Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in organizing and managing travel arrangements for sports teams. From coordinating transportation to booking accommodation meals and recreational activities your role is crucial in ensuring smooth and seamless travel experiences for athletes coaches and staff attending camps games and tournaments.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel Logistics: Organize transportation (flights buses etc.) for teams to and from camps games and tournaments.
Accommodation Arrangements: Secure hotels or other lodging for the team ensuring comfortable and convenient accommodation.
Meals and Catering: Arrange for team meals taking into account dietary needs and schedules.
Recreation & Private Tours: Organize recreational activities and private tours for the team while they are away ensuring they have time to relax and bond.
Special Requests: Address any special needs the coach may have for the team such as meeting rooms therapy rooms or other customized arrangements.
Problem Solving: Be oncall to respond to any travelrelated issues or emergencies and find quick solutions or alternate plans. You will not be traveling with the teams.
Customer Service: Maintain excellent communication with coaches athletes and vendors ensuring all parties are wellinformed and satisfied.
Job Requirements:
Ability to juggle multiple tasks prioritize and manage logistics efficiently.
Must be able to adapt quickly and provide fast solutions for lastminute changes or unexpected issues.
Comfortable communicating with coaches athletes and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Be oncall during travel periods to assist with urgent issues or changes.
Proficiency in using social media and the ability to learn new computer systems and software.
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years old.
Eligibility: Must have the necessary credentials to work in the United States.
