Job Description
Open Position: Purchasing Specialist (MNC Food Packaging Company)
A MNC Food Packaging Company is looking for Purchasing Specialist to lead purchasing and negotiation activities to be based in Selangor plant.
Key requirements include:
Responsible for all activities of purchasing including negotiation and managing raw materials on time.
Work with other departments like Production to make sure materials and tools are used effectively.
Communicate with suppliers to ensure availability of raw materials for Production to run.
Ensure safety stock levels are met by working with Warehouse.
Keep track of quality and delivery of suppliers and ensure they are of highest standards.
Ensure cost competitiveness by having effective negotiations steps.
More than 5 years in manufacturing environment or FMCG.
Strong negotiation skills and good in inventory management.
