Job Description

A thriving academy school in Greenwich South London is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher. This fulltime permanent position begins in January 2025 (or sooner) and offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire a love for music within a diverse and engaged student body.

The Role

  • Innovative Teaching: Use a range of teaching methods and resources including interactive technology instruments and cultural music studies to create an engaging and immersive learning experience.
  • Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students supporting their wellbeing and personal growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong passion for music education.
  • Subject Expertise: High proficiency in Music with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of music theory performance and cultural diversity in music.
  • Engaging Educator: Creative in teaching methods inspiring students of all abilities.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within the department and contribute to the overall success of the Music department.
