Job Description
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code for backend services focusing on scalability and performance.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that support frontend applications and integrate with other services.
- Work closely with the Senior Backend Software Engineer and other team members to implement new features and resolve issues.
- Monitor and maintain backend systems ensuring they are secure reliable and performant.
- Participate in code reviews following guidance from the Senior Backend Software Engineer to improve code quality and team collaboration.
- Assist in optimizing backend performance addressing bottlenecks and improving overall system efficiency.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues working with the team to ensure minimal disruption to users.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- A Minimum of 2 years of experience as a backend developer with a strong focus on PHP development.
- Proficiency in PHP and Laravel.
- Solid understanding of database management SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) for effective collaboration with frontend developers.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance with data protection regulations
