WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A MAINTENANCE MANAGER
As Maintenance Manager at RIU Plaza London Victoria you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our hotels physical infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supervising the engineering team including technicians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of all mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
- Planning and executing preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal functionality of all building systems.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
- Managing the budget for the engineering department monitoring expenses and ensuring costeffective utilization of resources.
- Ensuring the implementation of energy conservation measures and sustainable practices in line with the hotels environmental initiatives.
- Collaborating with other departments to support their operational needs and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance repairs and warranties.
- Overseeing the hotels fire safety and emergency response procedures conducting drills and training to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
This is a fulltime position offering 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule based on business needs.
