Job Title: Harvest Technician

Job Description:
The role of the Harvest Associate is to assist the Cultivation team with routine labor duties. This will be accomplished by performing various tasks in the cultivation area. Harvest Associates are also responsible for harvesting crops and postharvest activities such as drying curing destemming and machinetrimming. This is not a grower/cultivation position.

This position involves working with plant material which may include exposure to pollen allergens and other plantrelated substances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Harvesting crops on a weekly basis.
- Drying crops and analyzing the moisture content of the flower.
- Use machinery in a safe manner to destem and machinetrim crops.
- Bottom pruning plants.
- Moving crops from vegetative areas to flowering areas.
- Mixing growing media and filling pots.
- Cleaning flower/vegetative rooms.
- Defoliating of crops.
- Daily cleaning of production work areas and facility corridors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); 1 year of horticulture experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications:
Landscaping agriculture or horticulture experience
- Ability to work with your hands
- Ability to follow direction
