Description
The AGM / Section Head Forging Operation will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our forging section. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of engineering processes and exceptional leadership skills. The ideal candidate will manage a team of engineers and technicians ensuring quality and efficiency in production while adhering to safety standards. This position is based in Bhandara Maharashtra India within an esteemed engineering consulting firm that focuses on innovative solutions in the engineering industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the forging section to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to optimize production processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Monitor the performance of equipment and ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to.
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2325 years of experience in engineering specifically in forging operations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to forging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and challenging environment.
- A degree in engineering or a related field will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
