Job Description
The Lakhani Group is a leading hotel development and construction company renowned for delivering highend and complex hospitality projects in collaboration with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team in Portugal. This role requires creativity technical expertise and a keen eye for detail to design stunning interiors for luxury hotels that leave a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interior concepts for hotel spaces including guest rooms lobbies restaurants and event areas.
- Prepare detailed drawings renderings and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Collaborate with architects project managers and contractors to ensure designs align with project goals and timelines.
- Select furniture fixtures finishes and materials ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure designs are executed to specifications.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate innovative concepts into projects.
- Prepare mood boards material samples and presentations for client reviews and approvals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
Requisitos
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience (3 years) in designing interiors for luxury spaces preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp 3ds Max or similar.
- Strong knowledge of materials finishes and furniture selection for highend interiors.
- Excellent creative and visualization skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage budgets timelines and project deliverables efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teams and present ideas effectively.
- Fluent in English (required); Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
