Position Details:
- Title: School Nurse
- Location: Nashua NH
- Duration: Current to June 13th 2025
- Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
- Position Type: Contract
- Working Hours: 35 40 hours weekly from Monday to Friday
- Student Age Group: High School Student
- Case Load: 1
Responsibilities:
- Take care of a student who is complete care trach dependent tube fed requires suction as needed and receives medications through a Gtube a nonverbal student.
- Visit the students home accompany the student on the bus to and from school.
- Care for emergencies and render firstaid as necessary.
- Make arrangements for further treatment if required.
- Check the students immunization records to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Notify parents of any deficiencies and inform the Principal of noncompliance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes regulations and policies especially regarding the administration of prescribed medication.
- Maintain health medication clinic and examination records and files.
- Keep a daily log of activities and maintain supply inventory in compliance with district and state nursing regulations policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Certified in Basic Life Support (CPR) and AED (automated external defibrillator).
- Prior experience as a pediatric nurse or school nurse.
- Must have a New Hampshire RN license.
