Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Team Lead to provide support to the VNC Global by managing required accounting tasks and analyzing the work performed by the team members. You will be a part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the client s accounts and finances.


The ideal candidate will be wellversed in accounting principles able to manage the team and work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.


The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient process of the team and help the client(s) be fully aware of its financial condition industry belongingness and personalized keyobservations. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish longterm success.


Role in Clients

  1. Work diligently in ensuring the clients work is completed as per scope of work agreed with client
  2. Develop and have a detailed understanding and knowledge of each client under portfolio
  3. Submit Project Status Report on timely basis with coordination from Team and consistently work with TLCs to improve quality and satisfaction of clients with company and achieve key growth areas as planned.
  4. Create maintain and review daily project management system to ensure that all tasks as agreed in scope is there and used to track project progress and appropriate time recording can be done by team.
  5. Review emails and other departments requirement (Edge Org. Activities or Org tasks) and prepare daily schedule for team by each client to follow and monitor progress during the day.
  6. Ensuring that every query or question or communication from client or team is monitored and responded with within time frame as applicable for each client.
  7. Consistently ensure that team and clients are in sync systems used in organization for client is in sync
  8. Develop review and maintain project related documents files and keep project handover and client specific onboarding training up to date in consultation with Team Lead Consultants
  9. Monitor review and alter for clients and under portfolio resources as per requirement and allocation /delegation as required basis
  10. Plan for backups when resources are on leave
  11. Schedule calls or attend all calls with clients as required and keep clients informed about project status
  12. Take any additional tasks from TLCs and manage the same as ongoing basis. Assist TLCs in growth of clients on yeartoyear basis and improving scope of work with quality work delivery of existing scope
  13. Maintain 100% client retention ratio with parameters under our control by assisting TLCs
  14. Work as back up of TLCs or Analysts or Executive as necessary when needed


Role in Team

  1. Define monthly or quarterly OKRs of Analysts and Executive team in consultation with TLCs and monitor them on weekly basis and help them to achieve them.
  2. Schedule weekly onetoone with team members or by clients and align the team and clients in sync for best results.
  3. Work with TLCs and team to continuously develop healthy right and progressive culture within team
  4. Assist TLCs for Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) when required
  5. Maintain 90% employee retention ratio with parameters within our control with support from TLCs
  6. Evaluate on test check basis work performed by Analysts and Executive team to ensure quality is always maintained.
  7. Encourage team to participate in all company organized activities.
  8. Resolve any issues or conflicts within team
  9. Support TLCs in providing periodic feedback about team during confirmation OKRs and PIP development when required

Role in Person

  1. Always be punctual and professional become an example to follow for the team
  2. Always lead from front and be the one that you would want your team to become.
  3. Actively participate in all company organized activities like team s day newsletter CSR activities or any other from time to time
  4. Continuously remain certified in accounting software which are under portfolio
  5. Always be in professional and formal clothes and follow all company policies
  6. Be always disciplined and time punctual
  7. Develop and acquire deeper knowledge of each client under portfolio and their industry to be able to communicate effectively and build a repo
