Job Description

AMI is seeking ambitious and enthusiastic Freelance Facilitators to join our growing Implementation team in Nigeria. Reporting to the Facilitation Lead you will be part of a dynamic resultsdriven team that is passionate about Africa s transformation through learning and development. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fastpaced environment and are eager to contribute to building skills transforming businesses and empowering people across the continent. As a freelance facilitator you will:

  1. Undergo rigorous AMI training to become accredited.

  2. Facilitate workshops and learning experiences for diverse audiences including senior executives middle managers entrylevel staff and entrepreneurs.

  3. Deliver engaging and impactful sessions both virtually and in person.

  4. Successful candidates may be offered more formal engagements depending on performance and organizational needs.


Key Responsibilities


Preparation
  • Master AMI s training manuals and facilitation guides for assigned learning modules.

  • Liaise with the Learning Success Manager and clients to manage logistics and ensure readiness of workshop materials and equipment.

  • Conduct sectorspecific research to contextualise the learning experience.

  • Participate in briefings and dryruns with the program s Learning Designer.


Workshop Delivery

  • Facilitate workshops from start to finish ensuring all learning objectives are achieved.

  • Manage video content technical setups and other workshop logistics.

  • Ensure timely collection and submission of feedback forms.


Post Workshop Followup

  • Address participant queries and liaise with clients to meet additional needs.

  • Provide concise postworkshop briefs to the Learning Success Manager and General Manager for closure and invoicing.



Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Experience in management education corporate training or enterprise development in Africa.

  • Familiarity with business growth and development in African markets.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business consulting company training enterprise development or management education (essential).

  • Proven facilitation experience (essential).

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent professional experience.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication skills: Verbal and written with the ability to create relevant highquality content.

  • Facilitation expertise: Confidence and ability to engage diverse groups from senior executives to entrylevel staff and entrepreneurs.

  • Processdriven with creativity: Ability to follow established methodologies while adapting to client needs.

  • Strong interpersonal skills: A natural authority with the ability to foster robust yet respectful discussions.

  • Integrity and accountability: Thrives in fastpaced entrepreneurial environments with rocksolid professionalism.

  • Proficiency in virtual and inperson facilitation.
