Job Description
SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client an established local CPA firm in WNY is looking to hire a Senior Audit Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity in their North Towns location with room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entirety of the audit process from planning through execution
- Oversee the audit department providing guidance and mentorship for the development and improvement of the team
- Develop positive professional relationships with clients
- Perform risk assessments and create audit plans specific to each client
- Act as an advisor to clients providing educated financial strategies and recommendations
- Ensure the preparation and review of audit documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Address client inquiries/issues in a timely manner offering educated answers and resolutions
- Ensure compliance is maintained at all times remaining uptodate with audit regulations and industry trends
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Work well in a fastpaced highvolume environment juggling multiple clients at a time
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full time direct hire
- 100% inoffice:
- Standard 40 hours/week
- 60 hours/week during tax season (February 1st April 15th) with mandatory Saturdays
- 36 hours/week over the summer with flexibility
- $125000 $140000 annually depending on experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar
- CPA license required

- 7 years audit experience with proven leadership
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong technical skills
- Selfmotivated
