Position Overview:
This role performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice reporting to the Director of Imaging/Radiology. Your role will be crucial in obtaining accurate diagnostic images and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $52000 to $72000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as ordered monitoring patient condition continuously.
- Prepare equipment and supplies selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
- Implement safety standards and conduct quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions reporting issues as necessary.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures analyzing results for quality assurance.
- Take corrective action to resolve image quality issues including repositioning patients as needed.
- Enter transmit and report scan results accurately effectively utilizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification: Registered with ARRT in Radiology.
- Certification: Registered with ARRT in CT Scan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through the American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
- Experience: Prior experience working in the healthcare industry as a Radiology Tech is preferred.
