Position: Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Tech)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our esteemed clients team on a fulltime contract basis. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures using advanced imaging technology. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide highquality patient care and ensure accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using Xray CT MRI and other advanced imaging technology
Assist physicians with interventional procedures such as biopsies angioplasties and stent placements
Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring their comfort and safety
Monitor patients during procedures and make necessary adjustments to equipment or technique as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques for each patient
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Continuously educate yourself on new technology and techniques in the field of interventional radiology
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
EPIC charting experience required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology
Proficient in operating and troubleshooting various imaging equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
