Job Title: Brand Strategist / Content Editor
Location: Latin America
Type of contract: Independent contractor
Position Overview:
As the Brand Strategist / Content Editor you will be responsible for crafting publishing and promoting a daily newsletter as well as managing the brand's social media presence. Your goal will be to captivate and grow the audience boost newsletter subscriptions and increase brand visibility across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Newsletter Creation: Write edit and publish a daily newsletter (Monday to Friday) via Beehiiv ensuring the content is engaging and aligned with the brand's voice.
- Subscription Growth: Grow a highly engaged newsletter audience focusing on improving open and click rates.
- Content Strategy: Develop strategies that promote relaxation and nighttime activities while connecting with the audience.
- Monetization Strategy: Collaborate with management to monetize the newsletter through premium subscriptions display ads sponsorships and affiliate marketing.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow social channels (Twitter Facebook Instagram YouTube LinkedIn) scheduling posts to boost engagement and awareness.
- Audience Engagement: Engage with the community through comments messages and discussions to build loyalty.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track performance metrics for newsletters and social media providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Trademarks: Oversee tasks related to brand trademarks and intellectual property.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and contribute to content brainstorming.
- Additional Support: Assist in tasks related to growing this startup newsletter and brand.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in content writing editing and digital marketing (preferably in a newsletter or media environment).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and audience growth strategies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with the Beehiiv platform or similar tools is a plus.
