Reports to: Project Manager & Manager Planning and cost control
Direct Reports: Planner Quantity Surveyor
Lead a team of proactive Planning Engineers and Planners and ensure a competitive advantage through optimum project performance by timely cost forecasts effective progress measurement accurate and detailed information about project status analysis and recommendations and feedback. Manage the Planning Engineers and Planners to support efficient project execution and report all aspects of project status to project managers and Corporate Manager (Planning and costing).
Briefing of Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish develop and maintain a wellestablished efficient Project control’s organizational structure.
Establish and maintain a level IV resource loaded schedule in primavera covering all the activities of project.
Provide and maintain Look ahead plans recovery plans as per project requirement.
Establish develop and maintain a wellestablished efficient Systems and procedures and process to capture and record all events in a timely manner.
Maintain Quantity (BOQ) for the project scope Publish project progress report and cost
report as per the established schedule. Direct and guide the project management team in terms of
progress and cost. Establish Cost structure and monitor the cost through appropriate mechanism such as activitybased costing. Establish discipline wise productivity monetary system. Have thorough understanding of the contract and scope and instigate variation orders contractual letters notification to contracts department as applicable.
Have thorough experience and understanding of the pipeline project. Focused on the needs of the client and strive to meet their expectations.
Establish and maintain the Risk and opportunity register and cascade the impacts to the project Management team as applicable and maintain proactive plans for risk events
Generate cash flows for job and present to estimation a positive cash flow
Education Qualification / Knowledge / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mech or Civil Eng.
Primavera
Hands on experience in Scheduling Major EPIC projects
Have completed at least 2 Major EPIC Pipeline projects in The Middle East as Projects Controls Manager
Minimum 1012 Years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
Have at least executed one pipeline project as PCM
