Job Description

The Senior HR Administrator/Generalist plays a crucial role in managing all aspects of human resources including contracts payroll management and disciplinary procedures. This position requires a reliable individual capable of handling confidential information with discretion and integrity. The role involves ensuring compliance with HR policies and providing administrative support to the HR department. The position is hybrid requiring office presence on specified days of the week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee contracts and ensure they are up to date and compliant.
  • Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Handle disciplinary processes as necessary maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions and initiatives.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Facilitate communication within the HR team and across departments.
  • Maintaining confidentiality while managing sensitive employee information.
  • Balancing various HR responsibilities under tight deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in HR administration or generalist roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies payroll and employment laws.
  • Proficient in SimplePay and other HR management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Problemsolving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Experience in conducting employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Understanding of performance management processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with labour laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills for data management and reporting.
  • Experience with employee engagement initiatives.
  • Time management skills to prioritize HR tasks effectively.

Experience

Minimum of 35 years of experience in HR administration or a generalist role with a focus on payroll management and compliance.
