About The Work
• Champion the specification development validation and deployment of state of the art AI hardware at the core of Nuro's self driving stack
• Architect high performance onboard computing networking and vehicle interface systems in collaboration with sensor & vehicle hardware teams.
• Guide our design and manufacturing partners communicate initial high level design requirements and regular midcourse adjustment updates.
• Drive technology evaluation (CPU GPU ML accelerators other ASICs) to provide directional guidance on future development paths.
• Advise GSM team on strategic partnership development with suppliers in the high performance computing industry.
• Mentor and support our talented junior engineers and interns
About You
• At least 8 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience with High Performance Compute architecture electrical design and deployment
• Demonstrated PCB design skills (schematic/layout) bring up and debug. Proficient with popular EDA tools.
• Expertise in high speed and high complexity electrical engineering design
• Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes multimeters signal generators power supplies network analyzers and other debugging tools.

• Excited to work in a fastpaced startup environment; advancing projects from concept/development phase through launch and mass production.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to help guide a cross functional team
• Willingness to push a program forward from any level system architecture down to electrical debug
• Ability to derive designs to address novel applications with a wide range of possible solutions
• Ability and skills necessary to drive a product independently from concept definition through product end of life.
Bonus Points
• System Architecture experience
• Experience with Nvidia Drive platforms (PX2 Orin Thor)
• Proficiency in Altium design tools and Ansys simulation suite
• Experience with offshore JDM development
• Knowledge of Verilog C/C and Python is a plus
