Job Description
Position: Research Analyst
Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays 9 AM 5 PM Eastern Standard Time
Salary Range: $1800 $2500/ month (open to salary negotiation for the right candidate)

About the role:
Research analyst to assist the cofounders in performing fundamental equity research. The role will be focused on financial modeling investment monitoring original primary research and thesis diligence. The analyst will assist in the preparation of investment research materials and case studies including indepth fundamental corporate research on companies industries or various investmentrelated themes.
The ideal candidate is analytical detailoriented openminded creative and extremely passionate about learning to invest. This is not a shortterm hire—we are looking for someone who can grow with the team for several years.
Duties and responsibilities:
Financial research
- Building and maintaining financial models
- Data gathering and entry for various financial analysis
- Performing valuation analysis
- Indepth fundamental research on individual companies industries and various investmentrelated themes
- Industry analysis and monitoring key market industry and competitor trends
- Assist in the preparation of investment research materials and case studies
- Primary and ad hoc research
- Spearhead primary research projects by identifying engaging and securing
- relevant experts including public/private suppliers competitors distribution partners customers advisors and industry consultants
- Assist with the creation of key person maps to identify current and former colleagues competitors board members and other relevant parties
- Comfort cold calling and email outreach to source relevant experts
- Assist with monitoring industry events relevant news and data sets for tracking of investments
- Assist with the submission of FOIA requests
- Assist with running and maintaining idea generation screens databases and informational packets
- Miscellaneous research
Requirements:
- Required A recent graduates who have experience as investment banking analysts or sell side equity research analysts in companies like Bank of America Goldman Sachs JP Morgan Credit Suisse Citi Lazard Evercore or other major banks or as management consultants in companies like Bain McKinsey BCG
- Proficiency in Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Comfortable doing cold calling and utilizing cold email outreach strategies to build relationships with industry and company contacts
- Investment banking equity research management consulting private equity or hedge fund experience preferred
- Business development or account executive experience with US clients is also preferred
- Strong accounting understanding and financial modeling skills
- Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills
