Job Title:Technical Writer Cybersecurity Software Products
Location: Remote India
Work Hours: 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detailoriented Technical Writer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive user manuals and documentation for a variety of cybersecurity software products including gateways certificate portals Identity and Access Management (IaM) products and clientside agents for Windows Ubuntu and macOS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed user manuals that include installation configuration and troubleshooting steps for various cybersecurity software products.
- Collaborate with product managers engineers and support teams to gather product knowledge and technical details.
- Create clear stepbystep documentation that meets the needs of both technical and nontechnical users.
- Ensure all technical verbiage is easy to understand and userfriendly.
- Update and maintain existing documentation to reflect product updates and changes.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously adhering to deadlines.
- Use images diagrams and charts to increase users understanding of the products.
- Review and edit existing documentation for clarity grammar and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure documentation is current and proactive.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and software including gateways certificate portals and clientside agents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into simple polished and engaging content.
- Proficient with documentation tools like Microsoft Office Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
