Job Description
- Design and implement electrical systems including lighting power systems emergency power systems and oneline/riser diagrams.
- Conduct studies such as arc flash analysis and shortcircuit studies ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
- Lead comprehensive electrical system design and layout field investigations and construction administration.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor less experienced engineers and designers.
- Solve complex technical challenges and adapt to a fastpaced work environment.
Requirements
- Experience: 6 years of electrical project experience (or 10 years for nondegreed candidates).
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or significant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in designing electrical systems and conducting electrical studies.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Bluebeam and electrical analysis tools (SKM or EasyPower).
- Certifications: E.I.T. or P.E. registration preferred but not required.
- Project Leadership: Experience in guiding less experienced engineers and collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Industry Involvement: Active participation in professional organizations for personal and technical development.
- Advanced Certification: P.E. registration is preferred.
