Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the manufacturing process development and product support of various highprofile product lines. Included are all activities required to produce le and efficient manufacturing process with emphasis on PLC electrical and automation solutions
POSITION DUTIES
This position is responsible for the manufacturing process development and product support of various highprofile product lines. Included are all activities required to produce le and efficient manufacturing process with emphasis on PLC electrical and automation solutions
POSITION DUTIES
- Design and Development:
- Conceptualize design and develop automation equipment machinery and systems.
- Create detailed schematics 3D models and engineering drawings using Solid Works.
- Develop and test prototypes to validate designs.
- Performs electrical and control system layouts updates existing designs and creates new electrical schematics using SolidWorks or other electrical schematic software.
- Project Management:
- Manage projects from initial concept through to implementation including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including manufacturing software development and maintenance.
- Programming and Integration:
- Program and configure control systems (PLCs HMIs SCADA) for automation processes.
- Integrate sensors actuators robots and other control devices into automated systems.
- Demonstrated interest and ability to program in C/C and/or Java and/or Python
- Testing and Troubleing:
- Perform tests on equipment and systems to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
- Trouble and resolve any issues with the automation equipment both during development and after deployment.
- Doentation:
- Create and maintain detailed doentation including design specifications user manuals and maintenance guides.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards regulations and safety protocols.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance staff.
- ist in the installation setup and commissioning of new equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering Technology
- Proficiency in a 3D CAD package and 2D Schematic package
- A thorough understanding of mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic automation concepts
- Demonstrated and doented ability using economic factors (cost margins profit impact of decisions) to reduce cost of manufactured or embled product
- Be selfmotivated and possess above average time management and organizational ss
- Familiar in various coding languages including but not limited in C and Python
- Knowledge of DFMA principles and GD&T for engineering drawings
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to collect yze and interpret data to optimize automation systems and processes.
- Ability to manage projects including planning coordination and
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers technicians and other stakeholders in the production process
- 50% Shop / 50% Office
