Overview
As an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon at KM Nu Amburs location in Tamil Nadu you will play a critical role in providing medical care to patients with disorders or injuries related to the ear nose throat head and neck. You will be responsible for diagnosing treating and performing surgery to rectify conditions affecting these areas improving patients overall health and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting patient consultations and physical examinations to assess ENT issues.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Performing surgical procedures to treat conditions such as tonsillitis sinusitis and ear disorders.
- Providing postoperative care and monitoring patients progress.
- Collaborating with other medical professionals and specialists to optimize patient care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participating in continuous medical education to stay abreast of new developments in ENT treatments and technologies.
- Providing patient education on preventive care and treatment options.
- Participating in clinical research and contributing to medical publications.
- Managing ENT outpatient and inpatient services efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Completion of a residency program in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Board certification in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Valid medical license to practice as an ENT Surgeon in Tamil Nadu.
- Proven experience in performing various ENT surgical procedures.
- Excellent understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in highpressure situations.
- Demonstrated problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and precision in surgical techniques.
- Uptodate knowledge of advancements in ENT treatments and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
- Proficiency in medical recordkeeping and documentation.
