The HSE Team

The HSE team at NSS Group is dedicated to supporting our four operating divisions (Maintenance Cleaning Testing and Hire) with a proactive approach to work in the safest and most responsible way. Job Overview

We are seeking an impressive and dynamic Head of HSE to lead and enhance our companys HSE strategies and programs. In this key leadership position you will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing initiatives that drive health safety and environmental excellence across the organisation. Your strategic insight and deep understanding of regulatory standards will be essential in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Your job will include:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with the companys overall business objectives.
• Lead mentor and inspire the HSE team ensuring cohesive collaboration and alignment with the companys vision.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems in compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
• Ensure consistent quality in products/services and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of health and safety management systems.
• Promote workplace health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop implement and manage safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of environmental management systems in compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 14001).
• Develop and oversee environmental policies and programs to minimise the companys environmental footprint.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability practices.
• Ensure all operations comply with local national and international regulations.
• Lead internal and external audits manage nonconformances and drive corrective actions.
• Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE practices and principles.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to measure HSE performance.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
