We are seeking a skilled HSE Inspector to contribute to a highprofile project focused on modernizing energy infrastructure in Corsica. This role supports the transition to a sustainable and efficient energy production facility.
Tasks
- Collaborate with the Project HSE Manager to inspect and ensure compliance with sitespecific health safety and environmental standards.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols for working at heights in confined spaces and with lifting equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to operational safety practices including LockoutTagout procedures Emergency Action Plans and Incident Reporting.
- Conduct and oversee mandatory safety training and certifications.
- Communicate clearly and effectively especially in highpressure situations.
Requirements
To excel in this role candidates must have:
- A recognized qualification in HSE Management (e.g. NEBOSH BSC) or a Masters degree in HSE.
- An engineering background (preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in HSE roles ideally within the oil gas or energy sectors.
- Fluency in French (mandatory) and English at a professional level (C2).
- Proficiency in business software including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills fostering a collaborative and compliant work environment.
