Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team and lead the visual and user experience design aspects of our app. As the Senior Design Manager you will play a critical role in shaping the design vision and strategy for our app. Your logical thinking combined with your expertise in UI/UX design will drive the creation of intuitive and visually appealing experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Design strategy: Develop and communicate a clear design vision and strategy that aligns with the companys goals and values.
2. Team management: Lead and mentor a team of designers providing guidance feedback and fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
3. UI/UX expertise: Utilize your strong UI/UX design skills to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces considering user needs and preferences.
4. Design reviews: Conduct regular design reviews providing constructive feedback and guidance to the design team to ensure design excellence.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including product management engineering and marketing to ensure design solutions align with business objectives.
6. User research and testing: Apply user research methodologies and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.
7. Design standards: Establish and enforce design standards guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency and a cohesive user experience.
8. Industry awareness: Stay up to date with the latest design trends emerging technologies and industry best practices incorporating them into design processes and solutions.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience (612 years) in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
2. Logical thinking: Ability to think logically and analytically understanding user needs business requirements and technical constraints to create effective design solutions.
3. Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch Figma Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
4. Experience in the fintech industry is preferred with a solid understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
5. Strong understanding of usercentered design principles information architecture and interaction design.
6. Proven ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
