Responsibilities
- Providing technical support for SAP systems run on AWS
- Responding to customer tickets in a timely manner owning basis issues to resolution
- Proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
- On projects supporting the build and migration of SAP systems on AWS
- Liaising with infrastructure security and other team members to support a customer s requirements
- Providing out of hours support cover when scheduled to the support rota
- Deploying tooling to support the automation of basis and infrastructure activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP components
- Experience with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration.
- Hands on experience in supporting customer SAP systems and/or implementing and/or migrating SAP systems preferably to AWS
- Experience in SAP Installation SAP Sizing SAP Backup and Recovery SAP Basis Monitoring SAP Patch Management Router Configuration SAP Kernal Administration
- Experience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party provider
- Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
