Job Description:
Note: We are ok with Mechanical technician with good exposure with hardware and technician installs tests calibrates and repairs electromechanical and electronic measuring.
The HVAC Technician will work in support of HVAC development programs technician installs tests calibrates and repairs electromechanical and electronic measuring.
This can also include supporting aspects of recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.
This role is to work in the model shop fabricating prototype parts and ductwork testing.
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures test requirements and the ISO 17025 standard.
Perform scheduled instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenance
Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments
Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions
Ensure standards policies procedures and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all times
Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner
Maintain effective communication with laboratory and project teams
Obtain fork truck training/license scissor lift training/license or refrigerant handling certifications
Perform test unit setup according to lab procedures and test request requirements
Create records of testing activities and document them according to laboratory procedures
Improve laboratory activities on a continuous basis
Implement corrective and preventative actions
Analyze troubleshoot and repair test units and facilities.
