Job Overview:
The Sales Manager Homeloans and Loan Against Property (LAP) is responsible for driving business growth through the sale of home loan products and LAP offerings. This role involves managing the sales process overseeing a team of sales executives establishing relationships with clients generating leads and ensuring the achievement of business targets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills a deep understanding of the mortgage and lending industry and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for homeloans and LAP.
- Monitor market trends and customer preferences to adjust sales tactics and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Design and execute promotional campaigns and events to increase brand visibility and generate leads.

Team Management:
- Lead mentor and manage a team of sales executives to ensure they meet individual and team targets.
- Provide regular training to the team on product knowledge sales techniques and customer service best practices.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to ensure high levels of motivation and performance.

Lead Generation & Conversion:
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents brokers builders and financial consultants to generate leads.
- Ensure timely followups with potential customers to convert leads into successful business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed personal and team sales targets consistently.

Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing expert advice addressing concerns and offering tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for highvalue clients ensuring seamless communication throughout the sales and loan process.
- Handle client escalations and provide resolutions to ensure retention and repeat business.

Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and regulatory changes affecting the homeloan and LAP market.
- Conduct competitor analysis and suggest strategies to improve the company’s offerings and market positioning.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of leads conversions and pipeline status.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on sales performance customer feedback and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all sales processes and transactions.

CrossDepartment Collaboration:
- Work closely with underwriting legal and operations teams to ensure a smooth loan approval and disbursement process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and leverage digital platforms for lead generation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets for homeloans and LAP.
- Conversion rate from lead to sale.
- Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
- Quality and volume of new leads generated.
- Team performance and development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance Marketing or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 57 years of experience in mortgage sales homeloans or LAP with at least 23 years in a managerial role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills.
- Indepth knowledge of homeloan and LAP products industry regulations and sales techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients agents and internal teams.
- Goaloriented with the ability to thrive in a highpressure targetdriven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.
