Job Description

Audit Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engagements: Ensure timely completion of engagements within budget and in accordance with quality control standards.
  • Build client relationships: Develop strong relationships with clients conduct collaboration meetings and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Identify improvements: Recommend internal control improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Address concerns: Anticipate and address client concerns promptly escalating issues as needed.
  • Stay updated: Maintain knowledge of industry practices and ensure best practices are implemented.
  • Manage multiple engagements: Effectively manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Exercise independent judgment: Make informed decisions related to engagements.
  • Develop team members: Mentor and train junior staff to support their career growth.
  • Maintain a positive attitude: Foster a positive and motivating work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or EA certification preferred
  • 3 years of auditing experience in a public accounting firm
  • 1 year of experience managing auditing engagements and staff
