Job Description
Position: Intermediate Cognos Developer
Location: Hybrid Toronto 2x per week in office
Structure: 4 month contract plus possible extension
Pay: Up to $62.00 p/h INC.
We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Banking clients in a contracting capacity!

Job Responsibilities:
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex Congos report components and applications.
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling simulation and analysis efforts.
Leverage industry best practices to design test implement and support a solution.
Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Must have:
4 years of experience in the software development field using Congos reporting Experience working in Agile teams.
1 years IBM OpenPages Congos development Experience in COGNOS Version 11and/or 12 report development.
Creating enhancing and maintaining Framework Manager models to support business requirements (5 years).
Designing and developing Congos BI reports using Report Studio with data drilldown and sliceanddice options (5 years).
Metadata creation report specifications integration test planning testing and implementation support.
Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) skills in database DB2 or Oracle.
Understanding of server technologies (Websphere Internet Information Server Apache WebLogic) operating systems (Windows 2008R2/2012 AIX Linux) and server security
Nice to have:
Experience integrating thirdparty vendor products.
