Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift with clamp attachments to transport and move waste materials containers and pallets.
- Handle hazardous and nonhazardous waste in compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage labeling and transportation of waste for recycling or disposal.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift and clamps.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to meet daily targets.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (preferred)
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience operating a forklift with clamps (preferably in a warehouse or waste management setting).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail reliability and strong teamwork skills.
- Experience in a Waste Management Warehouse Company will be highly preferred.
- Candidates in and around Wadeville Germiston will be preferred.

Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) preferred. 2-3 years supervisory experience in waste management or a similar field is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the waste management industry.
