Electrical HD Fitter FIFO from Perth
Were seeking experienced Electrical HD Fitters for permanent fulltime roles on a reliable 2:1 roster. Position Details
- Role: Electrical HD Fitter (FIFO from Perth)
- Roster: 2:1 (two weeks on one week off)
- Employment Type: Permanent fulltime
Pay Rates (Flat Rate)
- Grade 1: $75.00 per hour (12 years of experience)
- Grade 2: $80.00 per hour (34 years of experience)
- Grade 3: $85.00 per hour (5 years of experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on heavyduty equipment focusing on electrical components.
- Fault Diagnosis: Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on a range of HD equipment.
- Component Changeouts: Replace and repair electrical systems engines and other key components of HD machinery.
- Field and Workshop Repairs: Perform repairs both onsite and in workshop settings depending on operational needs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health safety and environmental policies ensuring a safe workplace for yourself and others.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of electrical repairs inspections and diagnostics as required.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience as an Electrical HD Fitter with pay grades increasing based on experience.
- Qualifications: Relevant trade qualification as an Electrical HD Fitter.
- Licensing: Valid drivers license; forklift and working at heights tickets are advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of heavy diesel mechanics and proficiency with electrical diagnostic tools and systems.
- FIFO Readiness: Ability to work on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
