Job Description

Job Title: Faculty Pipefitting/Fabrication

Location: Houston TX

Job Type:
  • Parttime
  • Fulltime

Job Description:

Teaching Pipefitting / Fabricationrelated coursework.

Applications for parttime faculty positions are accepted continuously and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as parttime faculty are not entitled to all the rights privileges and benefits of regular fulltime employees. Parttime faculty are hired on an as needed basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College which may require a physical presence at the assigned onsite work location.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have at least three (3) years of industrial experience in the pipefitting trade with experience in fabrication as it applies to pipefitting.
  • Must have exposure and knowledge of the NCCER requirements.
  • Must be willing to attend training to become an NCCER instructor if not already certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in pipefitting.
  • Have experience instructing trade/technical courses at the college/high school level.
