Job Description:
The WebSphere Application Administrator with 7 years of relevant experience with deep expertise in WebSphere administration and architecture working with development security and operations teams to ensure reliable scalable and secure environments.
Responsible for managing WebSphere application server platform good experience on handling upgrade/migration projects deployment configuration and support of WebSphere Application Server environments.
Install configure and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environments (both traditional and Liberty).
Perform version upgrades patches and fixes to ensure systems remain uptodate and secure.
Design and implement highavailability solutions including clustering and load balancing.
Manage daytoday administration of WebSphere environments including performance tuning and capacity planning.
Set up and manage WebSphere Network Deployment topologies.
Perform backups monitoring and disaster recovery planning for WebSphere environments.
Provide level4 SME support for WebSphererelated issues including diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks outages and application deployment issues.
Work with development and operations teams to troubleshoot applications hosted on WebSphere.
Analyze and resolve configuration conflicts errors and performance issues in WebSphere environments.
Develop scripts to automate administrative tasks and streamline processes (using ansible Python Shell etc.).
Implement automation for deployment and scaling of WebSphere resources.
Manage WebSphere security including SSL configurations user authentication and access control.
Ensure that WebSphere environments comply with corporate security policies and industry standards.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams (networking database security and developers) to maintain and improve WebSphere environments.
Collaborate on architecture reviews infrastructure designs and application deployments.
Excellent communication Lead and mentor a team of WebSphere administrators providing guidance and training to junior staff.

Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
Problemsolving mindset with a focus on delivering results. Workload distributed over 42 weeks.
