Job Description
Title : Sales Tax Accountant
Pay Rate : $45/hr On W2
Location : Melville NY
Responsibilities
Prepare review and file sales and use tax returns from Vertex for multiple states to comply with state and local regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required (Accounting preferred) CPA helpful
35 years of multistate sales tax accounting experience
Experience researching tax rules and regulations for products and services.
Proficiency with Vertex Returns or similar tax management systems required.
Oracle and Tableau experience a plus
Strong Excel skills are required
Ability to work independently and interact well with others
